Training Series

So we are going to try to set up some Wednesday Night racing in the Grafenwoehr Area. Our plan is to hopefully alternate weeks between Mountain and Road, but we will see as things get going what our interest level will be and see from there. Currently we are working to get approval to do a Wednesday Night Crit on what may possibly be one of the more epic courses ever at Camp Aachen. The course has about 100-150m of cobbles per lap including a cobbled uphill corner. More on that as we get approval. On the Mountain Bike side of the house what we are hoping to meet up on alternate Wednesday nights at Jalisco's/Megaplay right on the edge of town to do a little Mountain Racing. Once we get this underway, expect prizes of Jak and Nathan's Home-Brewed Beer, and whatever else we slowly find. These are all going to be free, but we will hope for some help as things progress in keeping events running. If you are at all interested, post here or email us, and spread the word. Once we get approval, expect to see some signs around post and more info here.

On a somewhat related note, check the Event Calendar page to see where, when and what we are riding. We will try to post as many rides as possible before we do them so that others can join in.

  1. I just RECON'd a killer mud fest lap in the farmland/woodland area outside of post today! This course somehow has more climbs than downhill sections and more mud than I ever saw. Nate and I will set a course tomorrow to determine a full race lap distance and use that to practice and race on.
Look for Nate's report tomorrow night on our experience.
